Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of GhostAgent at ghostagent.online (the “Service”). By creating an account, uploading a document, or paying for a claim delivery, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What GhostAgent provides
GhostAgent is a software tool that analyses consumer documents (such as receipts, order confirmations, or travel tickets) and may suggest amounts or grounds for compensation under consumer or transport rules. We generate draft claim letters you can edit and send yourself.
We are not a law firm, claims agency, or financial adviser. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal advice. You remain responsible for verifying facts, deadlines, and whether a claim is appropriate before contacting a merchant, airline, or authority.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract in your country. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at ghostagentsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You may only upload documents you have the right to use (your own purchases, tickets, or correspondence). Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or third-party personal data without permission.
You may not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse the Service; attempt to bypass rate limits; or use outputs to train competing models without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service and other users.
4. Analysis results and accuracy
Automated analysis may be incomplete or incorrect. Amounts shown are estimates. Merchants and carriers make final decisions; we do not guarantee recovery, response times, or outcomes.
You should review every draft letter and supporting facts before sending. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional advice where your situation is complex or high value.
5. Payments and refunds
Certain features (such as delivering a ready claim letter) require payment via Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout in the applicable currency.
Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, fees for digital delivery of a completed letter are generally non-refundable once the letter is generated and made available, because the service is consumed at delivery. If a technical failure prevents delivery, contact support within 14 days and we will remedy or refund at our reasonable discretion.
Stripe’s terms apply to payment processing. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Service, branding, and underlying software. You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process uploads solely to operate the Service (analysis, storage, letter generation, support).
Claim letters generated for you are provided for your personal use in pursuing your own consumer claim. You may not resell or commercially redistribute our templates or bulk outputs.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties (hosting, AI providers, email, Stripe, optional sign-in providers). Their availability and terms may affect your experience. We are not liable for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GhostAgent and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the specific audit or delivery giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event, or (b) EUR 50, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your uploads, or claims you send to third parties based on our drafts, except where caused by our intentional misconduct.
12. Changes and availability
We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
We may discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain available to you where applicable.
EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. We encourage you to contact ghostagentsupport@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve issues informally.
